Clam Digging on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska
In 1999 Ninilchik Charters began offering specialized charters for Razor Clams. Razor clams have a golden-brown, oval shell and range from 3 to 10 inches long. Razor Clams are great eating and fun to dig. Clamming is a wonderful family event. Adults and kids alike enjoy the time on the beach bagging clams and enjoying the wealth of marine species that live in the tide pools and on the beaches. Clamming is done during our periodic low tides, which occur for several days once a month. Not only will you experience digging for clams along some of South-central Alaska’s most beautiful beaches, but when finished you get to enjoy the wonderful and unique taste of fresh Alaskan Clams.

We will take you to a Beach with no Crowds and no Limits
Clamming trips are conducted from our home base at Ninilchik by boat.
